This short safari takes you to three of Tanzania’s top wildlife destinations: Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara National Park. Enjoy excellent game viewing, beautiful landscapes, and close encounters with Africa’s famous wildlife in just three days.
Pick up from your hotel in Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport and drive to Tarangire. Enjoy a full-day game drive with chances to see large elephant herds, lions, giraffes, zebras, and giant baobab trees. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or tented camp near the park.
After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro area and descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. Spot the Big Five, hippos, flamingos, and many other animals on the crater floor. After lunch, continue to your lodge near the crater rim for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive. Explore groundwater forests, open plains, and the lakeshore, famous for tree-climbing lions and large flocks of birds. After lunch, return to Arusha for your onward journey.
