Your expedition is conducted in a 100% private custom 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser, complete with pop-up viewing roofs, on-board charging stations, mini-refrigerators, and Wi-Fi. Led by a certified master safari driver-guide, you will navigate Tarangire's elephant-dominated baobab landscapes, the endless savanna and seasonal Great Migration corridors of the Serengeti, and the dense predator concentrations inside the UNESCO World Heritage Ngorongoro Crater. Day-by-Day Itinerary

1
Day 1: Arusha/Moshi to Tarangire National Park
Lunch (Picnic Box), Dinner Tarangire Luxury Tented Camp / Safari Lodge 1,400 m to 1,100 m ~120 km ~2–3 hours transit + full-day game drive
Your expedition begins with a private briefing by your master safari driver-guide before departing Arusha or Moshi for Tarangire National Park, famous for its majestic baobab trees and massive elephant herds. Upon entering the park, you will launch into a game drive along the Tarangire River, the primary water source attracting thousands of elephants, wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, and stealthy lions during the dry season. After a scenic picnic lunch overlooking the river circuits, you will continue game viewing through the park’s acacia woodlands before heading to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 2: Tarangire to Central Serengeti National Park (Seronera)
Breakfast, Lunch (Picnic Box), Dinner Central Serengeti Luxury Tented Camp / Safari Lodge 1,100 m to 1,535 m ~220 km ~5–6 hours (including transit & game drive)
After breakfast, you will depart Tarangire and ascend through the lush highland forests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping at the crater rim viewpoint for sweeping photography. The route descends onto the vast, golden plains of the Serengeti, entering via Naabi Hill Gate. You will begin an afternoon game drive through the Central Serengeti’s Seronera Valley, a renowned wildlife hotspot where permanent water sources sustain high concentrations of resident lion prides, leopards, and cheetahs. As dusk approaches, you will check into your Serengeti camp for dinner and an evening under the stars.

Day 3: Full-Day Serengeti Game Drive (Big Five & Great Migration Tracking)
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Central Serengeti Luxury Tented Camp / Safari Lodge ~1,535 m ~80–120 km (game drives throughout the park) ~8–10 hours (full-day game drives)
You will set out at first light for an early-morning game drive across the open savanna, catching predators like leopards, lions, and cheetahs on the hunt before the day grows warm. Midday offers the choice of returning to camp for a hot lunch or enjoying a bush picnic underneath an acacia tree in the open wilderness. In the afternoon, you will track the seasonal movements of the Great Wildebeest Migration and explore key riverine circuits, Retima Hippo Pool, and granite kopjes where big cats survey their domain. The day ends with sun-downers and a hearty dinner at your camp.

Day 4: Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater Rim
Breakfast, Lunch (Picnic Box), Dinner Ngorongoro Crater Rim Lodge / Tented Camp 1,535 m to 2,300 m (Serengeti to Crater Rim) ~145 km ~4–5 hours (including game drive & transit)
Following a final morning game drive across the Seronera River circuits to spot early wildlife activity, you will begin your scenic transit back toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy a leisurely picnic lunch along the route while taking in the changing landscape from rolling savanna to volcanic highlands. In the late afternoon, you will arrive at the Ngorongoro Crater rim, where you can take in breathtaking views of the 600-meter-deep caldera before settling into your lodge for dinner and rest ahead of your crater descent.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Floor Tour & Return to Arusha/Moshi
Breakfast, Lunch Day use room in Arusha/Moshi or direct airport drop-off 2,300 m down to 1,700 m (Crater Floor) to 1,400 m (Arusha) ~190 km ~7–8 hours (including 5-hour crater tour & return transit)
At early dawn, you will descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for an extraordinary game drive across the world's largest intact volcanic caldera. You will explore a dense haven of wildlife, home to black rhinos, giant tusked elephants, flamingos on Lake Magadi, and dense lion prides. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before ascending the steep crater walls in the afternoon and beginning your return journey back to Arusha or Moshi, arriving in time for evening flight departures at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
