Section 1

Booking & Payment

A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the trip start date.

Payments can be made via secure bank transfer or major credit card. An invoice and confirmation will be emailed to you within 24 hours of receipt.

All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise agreed. Currency conversion fees, if any, are the responsibility of the client.

Section 2

Cancellation Policy

Notice Period Refund

60+ days before departure Full refund minus $100 admin fee

30–59 days before departure 50% refund of total trip cost

15–29 days before departure 25% refund of total trip cost

Less than 15 days before departure No refund

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance at the time of booking to protect against unforeseen cancellations.

Section 3

Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all participants. Your policy must cover trip cancellation, medical expenses, emergency evacuation (including helicopter evacuation for Kilimanjaro climbers), and repatriation.

Proof of insurance may be requested prior to departure. Failure to provide adequate coverage may result in denied participation without refund.

Section 4

Health & Fitness

Participants must be in good health and physically capable of completing their chosen activity. Kilimanjaro climbers should consult their doctor and provide a medical clearance certificate if required.

Tanzania Kili Adventures reserves the right to refuse participation if health or fitness requirements are not met, for the safety of the individual and the group.

Section 5

Itinerary Changes

While we make every effort to follow published itineraries, changes may occur due to weather, road conditions, park regulations, or safety concerns.

Our certified guides have the full authority to make necessary route or schedule changes to ensure participant safety. No compensation is provided for changes due to force majeure.

Section 6

Liability

Tanzania Kili Adventures acts as an organizer and facilitator of tours. We are not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from force majeure, your own actions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific tour in question.

Section 7

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Moshi, Kilimanjaro Region, Tanzania.
